Yesterday we picked up 3 inches of new snow which will help improve trail conditions.
Below is the latest trail report from our hard-working friends at the Voyageur Snowmobile Club!
The Two Harbors West corridor is open and groomed on a regular schedule. Snow is a bit thin closer to town but improves closer to the North Shore trail.
The Dixie Spur is completely open and on a regular grooming schedule to the CJ Ramstad North Shore Trail. 6 inch base. There is logging from the Spur south to County Road 3 so caution is advised since the snow is close to nonexistent.
The Yukon from the North Shore Trail up to and including the Yukon Spur connecting back to the North Shore trail is open and on a regular grooming schedule. 8 inch base
Castle Danger trails are open and on a limited grooming schedule due to thin snow conditions close to HWY 61. It’s in decent shape down to a couple miles from 61 which is still passable. Watch the river crossing to Gooseberry Park.
The Yukon from the Yukon spur to Isabella is open and on a regular grooming schedule. It’s shaping up quite nicely 10 inch base
A biased, but honest, report from this weekend is that our trails are some of the best in the area in great thanks to our volunteers that were able to get the big stuff cleared and packed early enough for everything to freeze up.
Thanks to all of you once again!!
