Area trails are still in good condition. Next week we’re supposed to see warmer temps.
If you can, get out for a ride over the next few days!

We’ll continue to update trail conditions next week.
Trail snow conditions for: C.J. Ramstad/North Shore State Trail
Comment details: (updated March 3, 2016)
The entire trail has been groomed this week & the entire trail is slated to be groomed again on Friday & Saturday night. There is between a 2″-5″ base from Duluth to Finland and between a 4″-7″ base from Finland to Grand Marais. The trail is in fair to good condition; these conditions will change due to use & the weather. Please slow down & use caution especially where logging operations are occurring & when meeting a groomer. Please remember that it only takes a few sleds to go over a freshly groomed section of trail to make it look like we haven’t been grooming. Warmer temperatures are forecast for this weekend which could interrupt our grooming schedule. Trail condition will vary & heavy use is expected. Trailering to one of the parking lots along the trail is advised due to low snow cover near the shore.

The trail: The trail winds its way through remote, wooded areas behind the bluffs that overlook Lake Superior. From there you can see some of Minnesota’s most rugged and beautiful scenery.Facilties:
