The recent warm weather was punishing to our local access snowmobile trails that are closer to Lake Superior. The CJ Ramstad / North Shore State Trail continues to be groomed and as you ride north trail conditions continue to improve. At this moment we recommend that you trailer 8 miles up Hwy. 2 to the State trail parking lot for direct access to the State Trail. We did pick up a few inches of snow yesterday which will improve the local trails.
Like us on Facebook and we’ll keep you informed of local trail conditions.
Welcome to the Two Harbors Winter Frolic!
The 2017 Two Harbors Winter Frolic will take place February 10th and 11th at the Two Harbors Curling Club. It is an event meant to embrace the cold winter months and to show that there is always fun to be had – even when it is cold. The activities are all sponsored and put on by local businesses and community members. There is plenty to do for both adults and children alike! Try your hand at curling, sample the best local chili at the Chili Cook-off, listen to the Northwoods Band in the heated tent, or participate in the Fireman’s Kids Races or Photo Scavenger hunt. There are lots of new events this year, so please click on the schedule of events to learn more.
