Two Harbors Farmers Market – Every Saturday

From June through October, the Two Harbors Farmers Market will occur every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the parking lot of Burlington Station. Farmers’ markets are a great way to get to know the community and support local businesses. Farmer markets are the only place you can go to find the freshest produce, home baked goods, and one-of-a-kind crafts all in one space.

Food Trucks and Beer at Castle Danger

Castle Danger Brewery is a Two Harbors staple and provides a serene atmosphere to enjoy a cold beer on a hot summer’s day. Nearly every day, you’ll find a food truck perched on the premises serving delicious grub. Additionally, you can find live music every Friday and Saturday with an extra celebration on August 19th as they host their anniversary party.

Bubble Wonders Live – July 21st

For an exciting opportunity to experience storytelling and humor mixed with an uplifting message, Bubble Wonders Live is an inspirational event that people of all ages can enjoy. Along with hosting entertainers and authors, Two Harbors Public Library has an array of activities that will keep families busy. From musical story times to snack tasting, libraries seem to always provide handfuls of lighthearted fun.

Festival By the Lake in Duluth  – July 22nd

Just 30 minutes south of Two Harbors, Festival by the Lake is an exciting event held at Bayfront Festival Park. There’s much to do and see, including a variety of cuisines to try, craft vendors to shop from, and a selection of local musicians taking the stage. Admissions is five dollars which goes a long way considering all of the entertainment, including bounce houses and magic shows.

Lake County Fair – August 10th – 13th

If there’s one thing Minnesota does right, it’s hosting spectacular fairs and festivals. Indulging in delicious fried foods with live music echoing in the background is what summer days are all about. In addition to yummy treats and local bands, the Lake County Fair will also have a beer garden, farm animals, daily prize drawings, and various vendors selling all sorts of goods.

North Shore Bike and Roll

Gitchi-Gami Trail Association puts on an annual north shore bike riding event that kicks off in Gooseberry Falls State Park. Bike along the breathtaking shore of Lake Superior with friends, families, and other Minnesota natives. No need to be an avid bike rider to join in on the fun, there’s options to participate in eight, 28, 34, or 55-mile rides.

Kayak on the Coast

Experience Lake Superior up close and personal by kayaking or paddle boarding along the shore. Free Entry to State Parks – September 9th

Typically, there are four days of the year where visitors can enter state parks for free. The next day will be September 9th which is the perfect excuse for a weekend getaway in Two Harbors.
